Connect the controller to a mains socket and power on.
Select Low setting first; increase to High only once comfortable with the heat level.
Keep a thin layer of fabric (socks/clothing) between skin and the cushion during initial use.

Switch off and unplug after use; let the cushion cool fully before storing
